The Breg T Scope Premier Post-Op knee brace is designed to provide protected, controlled range-of-motion for patients recovering from knee surgery or those who have knee injuries or instabilities. The brace is comfortable, lightweight, simple to apply, and easily adjustable for a personal fit.

I've been in this brace for

I've been in this brace for about two months now and it is already showing major signs of wear and tear. The velcro hardly works, I had to go to Walmart and buy velcro to put on. The top hinge on the interior (brace is on right leg) won't clamp to any position on the brace. So now I have two straps right on top of each other instead of being placed properly at the top of my thigh. It's very annoying to have to fix it various times throughout the day.

Good Brace/Sliding action

I found if you wrapped your knee with a ace bandage (or 2) it stays on better. Had to wear it before surgery, and would never stay on always sliding. After surgery, because I had to use the ace bandages to cover bandadges covering the openings, it stayed on and did not slide. Still its pretty good equipment.

Not working for me

Been trying to walk with this thing for a week now. Prescribed for post op ACL and Meniscus replacement/repair. Padding makes you sweat and brace begins to slip. Never stays in the proper adjustment. Tightening it to stay in place cuts off circulation. Not having it tight enough makes it fall down to my ankle. Would like to get my money back. My insurance deductible was $170.00. Found a brace at Walmart for $20 that is working better.

Brace not locking properly

I have much of the same problems Dave has experienced, except with me I had surgery for a broken tibial plateau and snapped ACl, and meniscus repair and it was extremely important for the brace to remain locked in at zero degrees for my leg extension. This became a problem at the brace continued to come unlocked and I finally had to get another brace. My Dr. said that if this problem continued he would be looking to use another brace for patients as this brace has only been used since about February. I go back to see him In two weeks. Im not happy with this as I believe it has affected my extension while the knee heals.
