We have significantly reduced paper use through the implementation of electronic Quality Management Systems and digital billing. These efforts streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce overall resource consumption.
We are actively working to reduce plastics in our product ecosystem, including initiatives such as the plastic-reduction program for Polar Care® cooler packaging, launched in 2025. These efforts help minimize material waste while maintaining the performance and reliability our customers expect.
Energy efficiency remains a priority across our global footprint. Investments at manufacturing locations include solar panel installations and full LED lighting conversions designed to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
Breg partners with logistics providers that participate in the EPA SmartWay® program, which measures emissions and promotes cleaner transportation practices such as fuel efficiency improvements and reduced truck idling. By 2026, we expect nearly 90% of our freight spend to be aligned with SmartWay partners.
Our pack-size optimization initiative customizes shipping box sizes to reduce material use, lower shipping volume, and improve transportation efficiency.
