Breg Appoints Longtime Health Care Leader to Board of Directors

CARLSBAD, Calif. – February 13, 2017 – Breg, Inc., a premier provider of integrated solutions that help improve the quality and lower the cost of the orthopedic episode, today announced the appointment of Ken Paulus to the company’s board of directors.  Mr. Paulus has more than 25 years of experience leading integrated delivery systems and physician networks.

Mr. Paulus previously served as president and chief executive officer of Allina Health, one of the nation’s largest integrated delivery systems.  Under his leadership, Allina Health grew to encompass more than 100 hospitals and ambulatory care clinics and received the Davies award for offering one of the industry’s most integrated and advanced information systems.  Prior to Allina, Mr. Paulus was president and CEO of Atrius Health System, the largest integrated physician group in New England, and a research affiliate of Harvard Medical School.  He also served as chief operating officer of Partners Community HealthCare, a major teaching and research affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Breg and Redox Sign Agreement to Integrate Patient Workflow Solutions and Electronic Health Record Systems

Carlsbad, Calif. – November 1, 2016 – Breg, Inc., a premier provider of integrated solutions that help improve the quality and lower the cost of the orthopedic episode, and Redox, the leading electronic health record (EHR) integration platform, today announced a partnership. The agreement enables Breg’s Vision Cloud Connect software to connect quickly and easily to Epic, Cerner and all other EHRs using Redox’s Application Program Interface (API) as a bridge between systems.

Together, Breg and Redox reduce the time needed to develop and implement an interface from 12 weeks to an average of three to four weeks for most Cloud Connect customers. Read more

Breg Launches New Version of Orthopedic Patient Workflow Management Software

Carlsbad, Calif. – August 1, 2016 – Breg, Inc., a premier provider of integrated solutions that help improve the quality and lower the cost of the orthopedic episode, today announced the launch of Vision™ 5.0 – the latest iteration of its Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) workflow management software. Vision automates and optimizes in-house bracing and supplies programs.

Vision 5.0 includes a complete user interface and experience update for both mobile and web – making it easier and more intuitive for orthopedic providers to manage patient workflow. Vision 5.0 mobile also is configured for future expansion beyond iOS to Android and Windows. Similar to the development of Vision Cloud Connect, launched in 2014, which exchanges data between electronic health/medical records (EHRs/EMRs) and practice management systems, Vision 5.0 was developed with direct customer involvement and feedback.
