Breg Introduces New Brand for Orthopedic Services Lines

NEW ORLEANS – March 7, 2018Breg, Inc., a premier provider of sports medicine products and services, today unveiled a new brand identity for its business solutions offerings. As part of this rebranding initiative, Breg consolidated its Orthopedic Practice Solutions (OPS), OrthoSelect® consulting, BregBill programs, Breg Vision® software and Vision Cloud Connect® brands under one unifying brand, Breg Impact™. Introduced at this week’s American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS) in New Orleans, Breg Impact, combines clinically-trained consultants and integrated workflow software to deliver a customized, proven Durable Medical Equipment (DME)/bracing program.

“Our focus on making products and services remarkably easy for our customers has always been at the center of everything we do, and this brand change is no different,” said Brad Lee, president and CEO of Breg. “By simplifying our service offerings under Breg Impact, we are making it easier for our customers to do business with us. Every orthopedic clinic and health system operates differently in an increasingly complex environment. By consolidating and streamlining our services, we can offer one integrated program, Breg Impact, which can be tailored for each customer’s unique needs.”

Breg is a pioneer and leader of providing programs that empower orthopedic providers to control all aspects of delivering DME and bracing in the clinical and post-surgical setting. Since the program’s launch in 2005, Breg Impact customers have dispensed orthopedic products to millions of patients in thousands of orthopedic practices and departments across the country.

“Mercy Health is a large healthcare system, and Breg’s Impact program is able to meet the needs of the many departments and physicians while maintaining excellent care,” said Andrew Holtzapfel, MS, ATC, director, durable medical equipment, Mercy Health. “Breg Impact’s hybrid solutions program has proven to be valuable in bridging those needs into an efficient and successful program.”

What sets Breg Impact apart

Customized programs: Unlike other programs that force-fit customers into a “one size fits all” offering, the Breg Impact team works with providers to develop the right program to meet their specific needs. Whether customers are looking to outsource DME and billing services to avoid costs, manage their own in-house program to generate revenue or a combination of both, Breg can customize the right program for healthcare organizations.

Clinically trained consulting and support teams: The Breg Impact team is comprised of 25 experienced consultants – more than anyone in the industry by far – specifically dedicated to helping ensure customers’ DME/bracing programs are a success. In addition, Breg Impact has more than 100 U.S. based billing support team members who are experienced in claim processing.

Proven, time-tested software: Breg Vision patient workflow software will retain its name under the new brand. Now on its fifth-generation release, Breg Vision is designed specifically for orthopedic providers by Breg’s internal team of 12 dedicated developers. Breg Vision uses industry-leading standards to provide a secure, efficient workflow process. The first software in the industry with a bi-directional interface, Breg Vision provides the ability to pull the patient schedule directly into Breg Vision and push billing information and patient documentation back into Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Practice Management (PM) systems.

Complete EHR Connectivity: Breg Vision interfaces seamlessly with every major EHR and PM system. In addition, Breg Vision and Athena Health have partnered to enable a streamlined integration experience. Breg is also pursuing similar partnership opportunities with multiple EHR and PM vendors to deliver the best possible customer experience.

Patient Service Centers: Breg is the only provider to offer 22 patient service centers around the country. Each center provides local patient services including care coordination, orthotic fitting and billing support.
