Brad Mason
Group President, North America
Orthofix, Inc.
Brad was named Group President, North America in July 2008. Brad co-founded BREG, Inc., in 1989, which was later acquired by Orthofix in December 2003. He first served as a Vice President of Orthofix International N.V., and then advanced to President of the Orthofix Sports Medicine Division. Brad has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, some of which were spent with dj Orthopedics (formerly DonJoy) where he was a founder and held the position of Executive Vice President. Brad is the named inventor on 35 issued patents in the orthopedic product arena with several other patents pending.

Brad Lee
President
Brad was appointed President of BREG, Inc. in July 2008, previously serving as the company’s Vice President & General Manager. Brad joined the team after leading the merger and acquisition efforts for BREG’s parent company, Orthofix, serving as the Director of Business Development from 2006 to 2008. Prior to joining the Orthofix family, Brad was Vice President of Marketing for LMA North America, and throughout his 15 year career in the medical device industry, Brad served numerous roles in sales, marketing, R&D management, and business development.

Bill Hopson, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Co-founder of BREG Inc., Bill has over 30 years of financial accounting experience, including three years of public accounting. As a chief financial officer, he has over 20 years of experience specific to the orthopedic industry. Bill’s expertise has been critical to the development of BREG’s internal processes, procedures and overall infrastructure.

Kathy Barber
Vice President of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects
Kathy has held key management positions in the field of QA/RA and has more than 25 years experience in creating and training for quality systems, total quality management, integrated project management and work design. After joining BREG in 1993, she led the effort to develop the integrated systems required for medical device manufacturing, including compliance with the Quality System Requirements of the Food and Drug Administration as well as the achievement of ISO9001 certification.

Dave Brengle
Vice President of Manufacturing
Dave joined the BREG team with 20 years of operational experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to BREG, Dave was the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Cardinal Health. He has a strong background in lean manufacturing practices, broad experience with manufacturing operations in Mexico, and played a significant role at Alaris Medical Systems in their cultural transition. As the leader of the operations group, Dave will continue to build on the significant progress BREG is making to expand and grow its operations capabilities.

Jim Burke
Vice President of Engineering
Jim has over 20 years of engineering management experience in a wide range of industries including five years with medical device companies, five years with venture funded start-ups and seven years in military electronics. His experience provides BREG with strong technical leadership for addressing medical device requirements and product development in a time-to-market and cost-sensitive marketplace.

Pat Cawley, D.Sc., OPA, RT
Vice President of Research
Pat has contributed over 30 years to biomechanical research and is a renowned leading researcher in brace design. He has published numerous papers, books and book chapters, and participates as a research consultant, lecturer and advisory board member for several leading medical groups and institutions. He is also an active member of several orthopedic, biomechanical and radiological societies.

Ray Fujikawa
Vice President Sales
Ray has led key initiatives in orthopedic product sales and management for over 23 years. His experience ranges from field representation to the management, directorship and executive leadership of global orthopedic sales. He has represented products from a variety of medical device markets including arthroscopy, OR power equipment, total joints, trauma products, pain management, and sports medicine post-op products. His leadership has enabled BREG to expand sales and marketing initiatives on a global level.

John Liedtky
Vice President, Marketing
John joined the BREG team in 2006 bringing with him a solid track record of leading worldwide strategic growth and market share expansion initiatives. During his more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry, he has been instrumental in substantially growing annual revenues, leading international commercialization programs, designing and implementing successful product launches, and developing comprehensive training programs. With his strategic approach, John is driving intensive company-wide initiatives focused on accelerated growth and expansion.

Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development
Nancy has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources management in a variety of industries, with emphasis in the medical device industry. Her knowledge of both corporate and entrepreneurial organizations has led her to strategically influence BREG’s organizational development through high growth periods in the areas of recruitment, departmental organization, coaching, corporate communications and the establishment of employment practices.

Steve has over 15 years of experience in the field of information technology. His knowledge ranges from infrastructure technology management in the biotech sector to business systems optimization and implementation in the manufacturing and high tech sectors. His ability to blend business requirements with technology solutions provides a competitive advantage for BREG.

Christine Bowden, Esq.
Corporate Counsel
Christine Bowden has been practicing law for more than 10 years in California, and her experience encompasses both transaction and litigation work. She graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996. Christine spent the first six years of her legal career working for a litigation firm and representing various clients in employment matters, product liability actions and contractual disputes. As in-house counsel, she provides legal advice regarding virtually all aspects of the business and manages the company’s legal matters.
